Allow me to introduce myself,

I live contentedly and happily in a smart old town flat in Switzerland. Every morning I twirl my hip moustache with great care and love in front of my golden antique mirror in the hallway. The round glasses, my braces and the bow tie around my neck have become my trademark. When I take a leisurely stroll through the alleyways of the city, I am recognised from time to time.

Looking after bags is my great passion. I like to keep people's households clean and tidy. I'm particularly good at saving food from spoiling and keeping everything fresh, clean and crisp.

3 sizes

As you have different sized bags at home, I am also available in 3 sizes. You can buy me unpacked individually or as a practical set. The set contains: 2 pieces with a length of 14 cm, 2 with a length of 18 cm and 2 with a length of 22 cm. You can see how easy I am to use here in our explanatory video: Intended use.

Made with love

I was designed, produced and packaged by Sandra and Chrigi with great attention to detail. They chose the colours for me with care and dedication and designed the packaging with great passion. I am made in Switzerland and am therefore 100% Switzerland. How do you like me?

Design

I have my appearance  Sandra and Chrigi thanks to them. As the founders and owners of böörds AG - the young start-up - they created and designed both me and my packaging with a lot of dedication, creativity and love. They supported me with my TÜTENHÜTER character. This is lovingly handcrafted by Mattoa gifted artist. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, dear Matto, for your unbelievable talent in putting all our wishes so aptly into a character.

Production

I am incredibly proud that I am produced in Eastern Switzerland by a great and renowned 2nd generation family SME. With many years of experience in the manufacture of plastic parts, they are the perfect makers for me. I think it's just great that I've been given my very own mould here and that my name is written so nicely on my somewhat rough surface. Putting your trust in a young start-up is not something that can be taken for granted. But together we can fly.

Packaging

Liquids

With me, you can easily pack, seal and transport sauces and liquids. Use the right thickness of bag for this. Vacuum bags are particularly suitable for this. Thanks to me, you can easily separate salad dressing and salad. When you're hungry, pull me out, shake the bag and you have a perfect combination of dressing and crunchy salad.

On the road

Do you like to eat on the go or in the office and are you tired of carrying the "Schäleli" home after eating? I am the perfect solution. Transport your food in a bag and I'll seal it so it's waterproof, airtight and odourless. On a hike, on a family outing or even for a picnic, I'm your ideal closure solution. Open me up, you'll love me.

Freeze-proof

I was made from robust material, so I am Freeze-proof and particularly durable. Whether for frozen vegetables, French fries or open bags of berries. Even in sub-zero temperatures, bagging remains my favourite pastime. If I get dirty, I don't hesitate to wash myself in the dishwasher. I love wet, happy foam parties and hot washes.

Preservative

With me, you can easily seal bags airtight. This makes your food last longer and keeps it crisp and fresh in your kitchen. I'm always very annoyed about food being thrown away and I like to support 'no food waste' activities. As I'm also freezer-proof, I feel right at home in every corner of your kitchen.

Odourless

As I seal them airtight, no unpleasant odours can leave the bags. Thanks to me, your "Chuchi-Chästli" and fridge not only always look tidy and clean, but also smell neutral. Whether it's fish, vegetables, ready meals, meat, onions, garlic or even pet food - I seal all types of contents.

I am passionate about fighting spoilt food. Thanks to my ability to seal bags airtight and watertight, I can preserve food for longer. "No food waste" is not just a buzzword for me. I'm particularly robust, yes I'm made of plastic - but you don't throw me away - I'm extremely durable. My packaging comes from a company in Switzerland that 100% climate neutral produced.

Economical

I am particularly proud that I contribute to value creation in Switzerland. I am produced in eastern Switzerland by an experienced and friendly family SME. In Sargans at the foundation Arwole I am packaged by great employees. The film is printed in Switzerland. My developer and owner is the böörds AGa young start-up from eastern Switzerland. I have been on the market since 2018.
