Two companies - one conviction
It goes without saying that both the company gediegen from the Bern region and we at böörds are committed to Switzerland as a production location. We share a strong commitment to social issues. Both companies have a considerable proportion of their products manufactured in Swiss foundations for people with mental or physical challenges. And so what belongs together came together: the cooperation between böörds and gediegen.
"Tradition with innovation" is the motto at gediegen, the developer of sustainable paper packaging options for all kinds of food. The smart "Wilhelm" paper bag can be easily closed with a Tütenhüter. The well-known gediegen silhouette also looks marvellous on the Tütenhüter.
And the subjects are of course no coincidence. Sandra dances across the dance floor, Chrigi jets back to the valley from a ski tour and both find strength in silence.
The Ferris wheel is reminiscent of musical delicacies at the "Moon and Stars Festival" in Locarno and the traditional Swiss elements lovingly show the connection between the two travelling birds and their homeland. The silhouette of gediegen invites you to dream on many levels. This is how the gediegen food truck becomes Sandra and Chrigi's "Büssli" from their trip to Thailand. Allow me to introduce myself,
I live contentedly and happily in a smart old town flat in Switzerland. Every morning I twirl my hip moustache with great care and love in front of my golden antique mirror in the hallway. The round glasses, my braces and the bow tie around my neck have become my trademark. When I take a leisurely stroll through the alleyways of the city, I am recognised from time to time.
Looking after bags is my great passion. I like to keep people's households clean and tidy. I'm particularly good at saving food from spoiling and keeping everything fresh, clean and crisp.
I am manufactured in Berneck in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. My packaging film is produced in a 100% climate-neutral way. I am packaged at the Arwole Foundation in Sargans. People with disabilities find their place there. I am packaged there with great care.

Design
I have my appearance Sandra and Chrigi thanks to them. As the founders and owners of böörds AG - the young start-up - they created and designed both me and my packaging with a lot of dedication, creativity and love. They supported me with my TÜTENHÜTER character. This is lovingly handcrafted by Mattoa gifted artist. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, dear Matto, for your unbelievable talent in putting all our wishes so aptly into a character.
Production
I am incredibly proud that I am produced in Eastern Switzerland by a great and renowned second-generation family SME. With many years of experience in the manufacture of plastic parts, they are the perfect makers for me. I think it's just great that I've been given my very own mould here and that my name is written so nicely on my somewhat rough surface.
Packaging
It goes without saying that I am also packaged in Switzerland. I pass through the wonderful hands of the foundation's employees Arwole in Sargans. The film for this is printed 100% climate-neutrally in Switzerland. Did you know that my inner and outer parts are inserted into each other by hand and that a lot of manual labour is also involved in packaging?
